Due to the fact I have been running only 1x per week, I have been working with a trainer 2 xper week. We are doing great core work and it is giving my body time to heal. The running is still causing me heel and back pain so I am trying to be careful and not push it.

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008I ran a good 6 miles @ 817 pace this past weekend. I ran with Hunter (my friends dog) along the beach in Manhattan Beach and it was awesome.
I had some pain in my left heal the next day but is was manageable!!
Coming back slowly!!!
Running in Sonoma
Thursday, February 14th, 2008I ran 5.5 miles in wine country and felt good!! I ran an 8:17 pace and it was awesome. I am hoping to get up to 6 miles 3-4 times a week in the next two weeks.
RUNNING IN CALIFORNIA
Thursday, February 7th, 2008I ran 5 miles yesterday and felt good. I kept an 8:20 per mile pace.
My body felt comfortable and legs felt good.
I am on way road to recovery!!
Running in South Beach
Monday, February 4th, 2008I ran 4 miles along the beach this weekend and it was great!!! This was my first run out doors and pain free in three months!!!
I am going to continue my core training and start running 4-5 miles three times a week and see how I feel.
It was awesome!!
