NYC versus CALIFORNIA

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Well I was in NYC visiting and the weather was freezing.  I had some good runs on the treadmill but it was too cold to run outside.  I was very happy to come back to a balmy 70 and sunny in CA.

I was able to have an awsome 7 mile run @ 810 pace.  My last mile was my fastest.  I ran a 7:33.

I am thinking about running the San Francisco Half Marathon in July!!!!

New Year

NYC

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

I was in NY and di a great 7 mile run.  It was a nice and easy pace and I felt pretty good.  I had some back issues a day later and was not sure if they were related to the run.  I am going to try to do a 6 mile run this weekend.

CA Running Compared To NYC Running!

Thursday, June 1st, 2006

I thought Central Park was a beautiful and unique place to run.  I had some great races in the park.  You can check out my times by visiting www.centralparktc.com and searching Jeffrey N. Zisselman and/or Jeff Zisselman. As I discover Northern California running here is no comparison!  CA is beautiful with awesome trails and nature wherever you look.  From running in the SF Bay Marina to the Golden Gate bridge to the Headlands in Marin County.  You can compare my times by searching Jeffrey N. Zisselman at www.centralparktc.com to www.envirosports.com.

Life in New York NY and Northern California

Monday, May 15th, 2006

Just wanted to post my first entry on how different life is in California compared to life in New York NY. I am still running but the conditions are completely different. I also posted my resume at www.JeffreyZisselman.com and a portfolio at www.JeffreyNZisselman.com.

Its weird how my running times in NYC still come up like the one here: www.centralparktc.org/racing/Res1101.htm
but my CA ones come up later: http://www.envirosports.com/results/event/1549/results.php?p=2&ALss=aaf6cacee012389df51ad696d02434de

Stay tuned for more on running and living life here in the good old USA…
